Breaking Point

“Breaking Point” is a tense, psychological thriller set in a near-future world where mind control, surveillance, and psychological manipulation are tools of the state.
The story centers around Dr. Howard Lancaster, a government-employed psychiatrist working in a clandestine facility. His role? To extract confessions, suppress dissent, and “rehabilitate” political prisoners—not through torture, but through scientific mental conditioning. Lancaster prides himself on his clinical detachment and sees his work as necessary to preserve order.
He is assigned a new subject: David Franklin, a high-ranking military officer accused of treason and sabotage. But Franklin is unlike any subject Lancaster has worked with. Calm, intelligent, and resistant to every technique, Franklin challenges the doctor’s methods—and his very beliefs.
