Cruel Husband

Set in 19th-century France, “Cruel Husband” is a haunting tale of passion, betrayal, and vengeance. The story revolves around the Comtesse de Merret, a noblewoman engaged in a clandestine affair. When her husband, the Count, unexpectedly returns home, he suspects her infidelity. Upon discovering her lover hiding in a closet, the Count orders the closet to be sealed shut, entombing the man alive.
