Dreamy

A disturbing and surreal psychological horror episode, “Dreamy” tells the story of a troubled young woman named Dreamy—an adult with a childlike mind, who lives in a fog of innocence and delusion following deep trauma. She spends her time in a decaying apartment with her overbearing and abusive aunt, Mrs. Biggs, who controls Dreamy with a mix of cruelty, religious fervor, and threats of institutionalization.

Dreamy retreats into vivid fantasies to escape her bleak reality. Her mind twists the cruelty of her world into fairy-tale logic, blending imagination and hallucination in increasingly dangerous ways. Her only comfort is a ragged doll and the mysterious voice of a man she hears in her dreams — a kind, protective figure who tells her she must break free.
