Mr Agostino

Joe Palermo, a down-on-his-luck gambler and small-time crook who’s on the run after double-crossing a local mob boss. With nowhere left to go and few people he can trust, Joe holes up in a rundown boarding house in a quiet part of town. It’s here that he meets the building’s mysterious and reclusive owner: Mr. Agostino.

Mr. Agostino is charming, old-world, and oddly formal—always wearing a suit, always knowing more than he should. Despite his age, he moves with strange grace, and his eyes seem to look straight through people. Joe is unnerved but too desperate to leave.
