The Dentist

The story follows Mr. Burton, an anxious and increasingly paranoid man who books an appointment with Dr. Bronsky, a local dentist with a peculiar reputation. Burton is already uncomfortable with dentists in general, but something about Bronsky’s office feels especially wrong—too clean, too cold, too quiet.

As Burton undergoes his routine cleaning, he begins to feel that something is... off. The hygienist never speaks. The chair seems unusually restrictive. The instruments gleam under flickering fluorescent lights. Worst of all, Dr. Bronsky’s demeanour is calm, smiling—and absolutely unreadable.
